Baby shower - another wonderful family celebration. Usually we have colorful cupcakes, sweets , coffee , presents and girly gossips. This time was all above and lots more! Aditya & Keyury absolutely smashed all the preparations.
We were lucky with the weather, as the party was organized in the garden marquee. Every detail was carefully prepared. Parents to be with the family still didn’t know the sex of their baby, so all the decorations had to be mixed. We had stunning baby shower cake with Arsenal logo and make up accessories, blue and pink cupcakes, all kinds of sweets and lots of balloons. All that really made the fairytale atmosphere. There was only one person who knew baby sex and I really tried to get the information, but he kept the secret. I even managed to catch few embarrassing photos of him to exchange for the information, but still got nothing, LOL. He was the master of black balloon with the secret inside. Just before all that excitement happened, there was still lots going on during that day. It started with typical Asian ceremonies, full of traditions and attention to detail. For the Asian family photographer it's always a pleasure to catch all the colors around. The ladies looked extremely beautiful and Mummy to be who is as well a make up artist looked amazing . I wish I looked like her while I was pregnant, but really I was far from that stunning look, lol.
Boy or girl?
Once the ceremonies finished we all had great vegetarian meals and moved to the round tables inside the garden marquee. Our great couple cut the marvelous cake and baby shower games started. All the guests had fun with charades, guessing baby food by smelling or tasting and the last game was coloring the bibs. So much laugh all we had. The best was in the end - baby sex reveal!
I was excited like a baby, seriously, lol. As a parents of two daughters we voted for a girl! Are you ready now?

I find the most challenging to photograph children in age between 5 and 12. Mostly because it so much depend on the factor how they feel in the particular moment. If they are hungry, not in the right mood or decided to make silly poses only, LOL. So I think the best idea is to take them to environment, which they are familiar with. The place where they can feel free and enjoy themselves.
As a Surrey family photographer, I am massive fan of lifestyle photography. For me to catch the moments is the most fun. When you can see kids running around, laughing and joking, you know there will be great shots. Of course it all depends on many circumstances like weather, weather , weather.. lol. So not always we can do family shoot outdoor.
Toghether with our family friend, Mrs K, we have chosen South Norwood Country Park for their outdoor shoot. The idea was to have nice family pictures as well as some portraits. Only if our full of joy bunch will allowed, of course. How lucky we were with the weather! Sunny, hot and beautiful afternoon. The place was just perfect. Boys and girls enjoyed themselves, not forgetting little family friend - dog Fifi. I have to admit it was easy to capture Mrs K family as all of them are beautiful and full of energy. I am really happy with the outcome from that day. We managed to catch few really nice portraits which are absolutely stunning.

The idea for family and baby photography came actually from our wedding clients. We often hear how beautiful pictures we have taken of our daughters and our newly weds once having babies contact us to arrange such a shoots. So we thought why not to try!
Today’s beautiful model is Matilda - four months old GORGEOUS baby girl! I absolutely fell in love with her eyes and big smile. I think I choose the most difficult age of child for start, LOL. Arms, legs, head everything was in the move. To freeze some special moments Mum had to make lots of exercises and funny faces! Despite all the magic and extreme jumps I think I actually did very well. I’m really proud of myself and what is the most important parents are extremely happy with the set of images we created!
Thank you for your trust! Baby Matilda after two hours session slept for ages. Seriously tiring job she had. Definitely more to come on our blog from family photography, baby shoots and hopefully new baby borns!

Have you ever tought if there is anything like the best camera for everyone? The piece of equipment, which would meet everyones needs. Well, we found one. And we took it to Thailand to give it a go.
This camera is setup for you to learn the fundamental of photography when you actually taking photos. If you do not have a camera you might think you can learn photography on any camera. But it is actually NOT true. Shutter speed, ISO and f-stop these are basic settings you have to start to be familiar with. There needs to be easy access to the buttons which take control of the settings mentioned. This camera does that flawlessly. Aperture on the lens is completely manual. That feature gives you the ability to decide how blurry your image is going to be or how much is going to be in focus.
Shutter speed, ISO and f-stop are the key components that make up your photographs. On this camera not only Aperture is manual but also shutter speed and the ISO. It is fantastic! They are located right on the top of the camera, right in front of your eyes on the top plate. To change the shutter speed you just need to change the little dial and to change your ISO you just pinch the same dial up and change your ISO. Just like a film camera ALL your settings are on the outside of the camera, so you can focus on what matters - THE PHOTOGRAPH!
This camera can teach you more about photography than any (almost) other camera ever could. You are forced to think what are you doing while you are doing it.
Just one lens - 23mm f2
The biggest advantage of Fujifilm x100f is the fact, that it does NOT have interchangeable lenses. 23mm f2.0 lens is the only lens you can use and it cannot be taken off. And guess what? It is great little lens! Because of the aps-c sensor this lens act as 35mm full frame equivalent focal length which is far my most favorite focal length all times. Some photographers will not like being limited to just 35mm look lens. I absolutelly LOVE IT because it pushes my creativity. And what this camera teaches is to shoot all the time. Another feature of this camera is build in ND filter - piece of glass that goes over your lens that cuts light out. You can shoot low apertures all day long. And the sensor - it is 24 megapixel camera, shoots 1080p video, shoots 60fps. But for me it is photography camera.
The coolest about this camera are film simulations. Fujifilm packed bunch of real film simulations into this tiny little camera, which gives you that distinctive looking images straight out of the camera. This is so incredible! And you can use it for video too. Our favorite are: Classic Chrome, Acros and Velvia.
Camera for me should be fun enought that you don't want put it away at all. Fujifilm x100f has distinctive personality. In our age digital cameras shooting same way. We are aiming for cleaner, sharper, high dynamic range, overall better imagery. But is it what we love in photography? No! That's why we came back to shooting film and this year we are taking at least two rolls of film for every shoot (one roll of Portra 160 or 400 and one roll of b&w film). The objective of having the camera for everyday use is not having the best camera, it is having a camera you can have with you at all times. And will be reliable to shoot at the time you want. And you do not want to spend time in front of your computer editing. You want to have fun shooting.
We love rangefinder style
Final feature which makes x100f different than rest of the cameras (not all of course, but most affordable ones), is the fact that it is rangefinder camera. What does it mean? It means that when you are looking thru viewfinder you can see not only what will be in your frame but you see what is going on around. It feels alot more real.

Everyone deserves for a break. So do we! This time was a special occasion, our 10th wedding anniversary. We really never plan any trips much in advance and really always pick a destination spontaneously! We knew, we have only long weekend off, so ideally it would be somewhere in Europe with a short distance flight. It was September, so still nice and warm weather. We decided to go to Venice. Everyone say that few days trip is more than enough to visit this beautiful old city.
Once I said loud where we were going, few friends straight gathered to come with us! Love to travel with friends specially on short break. It is always so much fun! This time was exactly the same. Cheeky friends knew, that if they go along with wedding photographers they would come back with lots of great shots! LOL!
Karolina always buys guide (yes, old school book, which you can take with you and read where to go, where to eat, etc) and make lots of notes before we go. It is very helpful, especially on the beginning so we don’t struggle to find a place to stay. Later is a different story...
We always want to see the most but once we blend with locals we just go with the flow. Love to experience places from their point of view. And we couldn’t forget about the food! The best pizza we had we did eat on the pavement by the canal with glass of the red wine and a pint! What a great time and sooo relaxing.
Fantastic about this place is that everywhere you go, it is close to your accommodation! Every corner is different and it is so easy to get lost! Absolutely loved that. Lots of tiny bridges, lovely restaurants and old buildings. We managed even to wake up for sun rise. Wedding photographers habit I guess LOL.
Public transport as an alternative to walking is precious. We did go as well to see sister island called Murano. That was a brilliant idea, never seen so many colors in such a tiny place. Atmosphere was magical. We did see alot but I’m sure still missed lots of places. But never regret as we know one day we come back to experience more. We would love to shoot a wedding in venice or organise an engagement shoot there.
As a destination wedding photographers we can advise you to take any trip very easy, slowly, and try to blend with local atmosphere. Not everything must by the book. That is how we like to travel. This is how we do it. Can’t wait for another gateway break!
